Ugh...do you think there is a real answer to this? Honestly. You know this is a sh*t stirring question.
If this was all figured out, no one would be on here fighting and calling each other names. If you seriously need to ask this question, you need to be out reading a real book and interacting with other human beings, not a keyboard. God is something you can choose to believe in or not. The bible is a book that has been debated for thousands of years. Do you think some goober on here can tell you the real answers? Guess what? There are no real answers. It's called "belief" & "faith" for a very good reason. Can't rule it out, can't prove it true.
You're going to get so many goofy answers that cover the spectrum of total denial of the idea of God and lovely flowery thoughts of God and His love. You'll be more confused than ever. Seriously. Read a book. Make up your own mind first. Don't let anyone blindly lead you into what they think is right. You have a brain. Use it.

There is a real God, he is One. He has no partners, sons, daughters etc.. This is who we worship 5 times a day in Islam. He is all All-Mighty, Oft-Forgiving Creator of the Universe. We as Muslims acknowlege that Jesus Son of Mary was sent with the Gospel but we do not accept the current version of the Bible as being 100% pure of what Jesus said or did. As it was written by various apostles with many contradictions.
You should read the Qu'ran for yourself if you wish to further understand your temporary existence on the planet, before the Day of Judgment.
Peace Be With You, and may God make it easy for you to come to the straight path of Islamic Monotheism

It depends on your definition of what God is. If God is the accumulation of all information past present and future than God the being is possible. Think of him or it as collective consciousness. You cannot escape from what you are already part of. To deny God is like denying your own existence. The Bible serves to remind us of the logic of a higher power and self. It is as if a lesser god has been born again.Behold, I shall make all things new.

1 Corn 1:20Â Where is the wise man? Where the scribe? Where the debater of this system of things? Did not God make the wisdom of the world foolish? 21Â For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not get to know God, God saw good through the foolishness of what is preached to save those believing.
1 Corn 3 :19Â For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God; for it is written: “He catches the wise in their own cunning.” 20Â And again: “Jehovah knows that the reasonings of the wise men are futile

there is god and he is merciful, and also miraculous! Think about moses when he was given the ten commandments he shined! Think about the sea that was parted for his people to hide from the pharao, think about the plague, think about jesus that cured so many people and that had such a big influence that we are now in the year 2007 after Christ! Yes I think there is a god, one god, and he sent many messages on earth. But the people have so much left him that he cannot show his miracles anymore....and he is angry, so much that he wants to destroy this place and build a new world where people follow his rules, and he wants to do it with fire this time. But he has sent his saviour jesus, amongst others, to save us from the ugly times ahead of this misled generation. Seek god as long as you can! For there comes a time when people will not be hungry for food, but for a word of mine! Remember: his burden is easy.

The bible is a lie. While there could be a force which created our universe, or multiple universes, is possible, rational answers will most likely come from science, not a bronze age book or myths.

God is real. He's not out there, He's right here. He is God and is the same as He always was.

Yes and Yes.
Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don

The Bible isn't a lie. It is a dramatization of real events.
It is not the reason there is no god. There is no god for other reasons.
