Would the world be a better place if you could walk and drive on water and stuff if you had faith?

Just imagine if you got stuff you needed because you prayed for it. If you were hungry a McDonalds Happy Meal fell from the sky...

Would the world be better if we could road trip across the ocean from the US to the UK?

Would the world be better if a family member died and you wanted them back you could take them to the local miracle worker and have them revived?

Or if you were having a birthday party and you didn't plan that many guests and you could conjure up some extra food?

Not saying they need to be worshipped or anything, of course.

didn't you ask a similar question once before re: final fantasy?

Back then somebody answered that magic wouldn't seem so magical if it were an everyday thing and I thought that was a brill answer.

I think if gods and miracles existed everybody would be sick of the smiting and the lightning bolts by now. The rest would just be, well, life.

Well the point of gods is not to get what you want all the time. Gods are there so that we as human beings have something to believe in that we can't actually see. It is part of being a person. You probably mean wouldn't it be great if we all had genie slaves that were obliged to do our bidding (not limited to three wishes). Yes that would be awesome to an extent but then everyone would have their wishes fulfilled and the world would turn more corrupted than it already is, so to answer your question: No. I'll take things the way they are. Because if there really were Gods/GenieSlaves there serve us, there wouldn't be any more reason to think or wonder or ask questions or fantasize about how wonderful it would be to have all your wishes fulfilled.

All of your dream will come true only the familly members can be revived after died. That will be a disaster. If I dye, I will not be same as me. I had already have this body for 100 years and I prefer to have others and try my new style. Recreation can be done by myself and upon to my only wish. I can select do or not do.

:) The birthday one made me smile. I had something like that happen to me last week. I hate that crap. Why cant people just RSVP for themselves and not bring people who are not invited in the first place?

If I could have done a loves and fishes miracle, I would have. As it is, I had to send my honey to the local KFC to make up the difference.

I love your mind. It's entriley too bad you're not using it to glorify God. I pray for you everyday.

I think the world will be chaos because nobody would have faith or morals on anything because everything is given to them...there will be no reason to be good anymore...
