A million baht is 14,482.47 pounds or so.

Local newspapers, agents etc. are full of Houses to buy but I doubt you'll get one for 1 Mio. Baht. It quickly starts at min. 2.5 Mio. and even there you won't have a great choice. On top it's not easy to own property in Thailand.
