Go to walgreens or cvs and buy the little green bottle called magnesium. It isn't more than $3 and works wonders! Trust me! It is a glass bottle and you drink the whole thing (6oz) and then a glass of water, and it works withing about 3 hours. It will definitely clean you out though.

What did you eat? If it was less than safe, you may need a Dr. Some forms of food poisoning can cause severe cramps, or excruciating pain, and vomiting. Why the nausea meds? If food poisoning, vomiting it up is good, so you don't add further to the amount of infection needing fought. Could be anxiety you weren't aware of suppressing taking a toll, or maybe any number of things. Talk to someone where you are who can help, please. And I read your profile. Sue E. Sidal? Knock that off. You sound like a neat kid, just mixed up like most young 'uns. Take care now, hear? PEACE, from an old grump that stumbled onto your question

Constipation is usually due to not enough fiber in your diet. You can also get it from not enough water.
Drink 8 oz of water every other hour, to start.
For immediate relief, go the the drug store and look for an enima to help you eliminate waste.
To make sure that you stay regular, eat green, leafy vegetables (spinach, kale, Chinese Oh Choy, etc.). Cook green leafy vegetables in 3 tablespoons of peanut oil (or olive oil, canola oil) with a little salt. Add a splash of white wine or white cooking wine, and eat a different vegetage with your meal every night for the next week.
My wife and I make soups with green leafy veggies (baby bok choy, napa cabbage, etc.) Here's a quick and easy recipe:
1 container of silken or regular tofu (1 lb)
Ginger root (about the size of your thumb, sliced in julienne strips)
1 can chicken broth
1 cup soy beans
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
6-8 sliced mushrooms
1/2 napa cabbage
2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
In a pot, pur in chicken broth and 1 can filtered water with white pepper.
Add ginger root, and tofu, sliced into cubes about the size of your thumbnail.
Bring to a boil, and then simmer.
Add sliced mushrooms, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
Cut napa into 1 1/2" chunks and wash thoroughly with water several times (use a basin with a collendar to strain the water between washings).
After washing the cabbage, put the soy beans into the soup, bring to a boil.
2 minutes later, add the napa cabbage and then the olive oil (the napa will asorb a lot of the olive oil).
Bring to a boil, and then turn off heat.
Serve after 5 minutes, and enjoy! Yum!!
There are LOTs of great recipes on line, so look there, too. Eat healthy!

You should go to a doctor and get it checked because it could be something causing your constipation. If you keep taking an laxative you could become depended on it. Your doctor can tell you what is best because they can run test to make sure every thing is working properly. But until you see a doctor you should drink plenty of water.......

Fruit that starts with p are natural laxatives (pears, peaches, plumbs, prunes, etc). Dring lots of water to soften the stool to help relieve constipation. Another alternative is to mix 1-2 tsp of mineral oil with some juice (otherwise it's just to yukky to take on it's own) and drink that.
Jogging sometimes helps me relieve constipation as well, that or sit ups. (They seem to get the digestive tract moving).
In the future, lots of water and staying away from processed foods will help.

Drink a lot of water, the oranges are good, as are other high fiber things. Did you binge on fiber---eat more than you would normally? If you did, #1 forget the high fiber foods, it will only make it worse and #2, if you took a high fiber laxative, that's not going to work. You'll need an old fashioned oil based remedy to help with that.

Did you recently eat something bad? Could it be food poisoning? If you don't get too sick, eat lots of fiber - LOTS of fruits, veggies, legumes, and whole grains. Strictly NO meat, dairy, or junk food. Drink only water, and lots of it. Also, buy some epsom salts and read the directions on the box to relieve constipation. Just make sure your plumbing is good and you have a plunger -- it could get dirty! I hope you feel better soon!

Try fiber. They make pills, or powder that you can put in a beverage or you can try drinking prune juice and if you are not a coffee drinker already, that will help too.
