hmmm really? i had no idea they were a hallucinogenic drug. i just eat them cause i love the taste!!! omfg are u kidding me? magic mushrooms taste like shitttt. its obvious i know about their potential. i mean i actually met jesus on shrooms. and also that little creature that follows Barney around. and i also saw the planet saturn flying around one of my electrical outlets. oh and i also saw the movie dumb and dumber in my head.

They are illegal for a complicated list of political reasons. If what you suggest is true then that would mean that shrooms were widely used, causing a big political opposition to industrialisation, before they were made illegal with a whole host of other drugs. Yet that was not the case. Also, many people have a connection to nature without ever having used mushrooms. Entheogenic drugs are a spiritual shortcut and temporary. A real connection to nature requires altering your mind slowly, not quickly with chemicals.

Shrooms themselves are illegal because of the fact that they are drugs. They come from cow dung and grow from the bacteria and other stuff inside the dung. A single shroom would completely make a first time user hallucinate far beyond any other drug out in the "market". It turns a normal person into an unstable and crazy person.

First of all it was intended to be a anesthetic on the reservation. Just like anything else if it makes u feel good than we abuse it. Bottom line its a natural drug that the government can't control or get there hands on. So if they can't make money off of it than u can't either. Besides it is a serious deal, worst than crack.
