fornication is called "UNZUCHT" in german, and that means "not breeding"....you can all throw your condoms away, all you married people, because you are fornicating as well. sex is about breeding, honeypies, and nothing else, my darlings. how many of you are doing "fornication" now???? PS: not to be married is instead, also a way to be together: paul says it: the woman is gonna be better if she remains unmarried.....so there are more "FORNICATORS" around than you might think, and it's not necessarly someone who's not married. OKAY

rabbit: I say you can perfectly be together without marrying your partner.....it is not fornication. I don't think it's right tat so-called christians run now and marry after 2 weeks that's all, because it gives another divorce and that is just plain STUPID if you know what the little bright bulb wants to say

obviously FORNICATION and its german translation un-zucht un-breeding is not the same....to me, it is, anyway. fornication is like having sex without thinking of having a child, without even liking the partner so much and just having sex....

The Book of Exodus

Chapter 20
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery

Dt 5:18 Mt 5:27 Mt 19:18 Mark 10:19 Luke 18:20 Rom 13:9 James 2:11

...or are we now gonna haggle over what the commonly accepted English definition of "adultery" is?

(And I'm a Catholic and I'm not even supposed to know what's in the Bible...so "they" say!)

that's the conflict of Iron Age morality with cutting-edge morality. at the beginning, the prohibition against premarital intercourse or adultery (which, interior the bible, meant intercourse with a married woman--no longer something approximately married adult men!) develop into meant to be certain paternity, and thereby, rights of inheritance. It develop into approximately factors. If a woman had intercourse exterior of marriage, or if a guy who develop into no longer her husband had intercourse together with her, there may well be no thank you to teach who develop into the father, and for this reason, what the inheritance rights may well be. Marriage additionally develop into actually for existence. between the few motives for divorce develop into infertility, which develop into an ok reason, provided that that could returned be suitable to inheritance. (No infants=no heirs.) human beings died youthful. women human beings generally died in childbirth, tremendously after pumping out a baby a 300 and sixty 5 days, because of the fact the age of menarche, which develop into while females married. NOW... we live longer we've greater expectancies of what we'd desire to continuously get out of marriage we've "romantic" innovations that did no longer exist then we are expected to place off giving in to organic and organic urges--yet maximum infants do no longer stand up to we live in a tremendously sexualized society The "virginity pledges" are a rigidity in cutting-edge society Early marriage might particularly be the respond, if there have been no longer the fashionable expectancies of what marriage could be, nor the longer lifetime wherein to remorseful suitable to the alternative!

Okay, name me the place in the U.S. Constitution that clearly says that the chairman of the Federal Reserve should control monetary policy or that Homeland Security checks baggage at airports? I know you can't.

Listen, bright bulb, you don't know that I can't and if you can't see it in the moral codes you either aren't looking, purposely won't see it, or you aren't capable of understanding a concept. It makes crystal clear that sex with a prostitute is forbidden, that is outside of marriage as I understand it, unless you are married to the prostitute, but then when she does her business then she is doing it outside of marriage. It makes crystal clear that sex with "your neighbor" in KJV parlance is wrong, try looking at the "Thou shalt not commit adultery" item on the Ten Commandments if you don't see it in Biblical teachings and the history the Bible gives us. Try noticing the description of a man's dealings with a virgin also in both Old and New Testament. Some of these are descriptive, some of these are prescriptive, and some of these are crystal clear in their meaning. Sheesh!

Added: I thought you were asking like a dozen other airheads that can't read and assume that their politically correct views trump what is written. I apologize for some of the sneer I thought you deserved--I still disagree though.

When Christ walked the earth, it was normal for a man to have a wife and then several concubines as well. Those were not legal wives, but still they would bear children for the master of the home. Did someone tell you something different?
The reason why having sex outside of your marriage would be a bad idea is that it could cause the marriage itself to end.
In this day and age with the nifty diseases available, it could also kill you, not to mention your mate if it is aides.
So use common sense and good judgement.

Paul writes in I Corinthians 6:9-11, "Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners shall inherit the Kingdom of God". You say, "What am I to do then? For I am guilty." Read the next verse, "But such were some of you". According to Acts 18:8, "And many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were baptized". The guilty Corinthians were forgiven, redeemded.

thast just one. but there are many. Im not a relgious nut, but the bible does say to not to fornicate.

It says that sex outside of marriage is fornication and is the worst of sins because you defile your own body. In the old testament, fornication was a death by stoning offense.

Hmmm. Yes. We can....

Acts 15:28,29
For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to YOU, except these necessary things, to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication. If YOU carefully keep yourselves from these things, YOU will prosper. Good health to YOU!"

Hebrews 13:4
Let marriage be honorable among all, and the marriage bed be without defilement, for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.
