All tablets work a different rates for different people, although they all obsorbe into the body at approx the same rate. if the first dose hasn't worked keep going with it as it is a very good drug for IBS. You could also try a wheat free diet as well (if you are not already on 1).

It can do, but pople vary. Some of the previous advice was very good. Keep taking it and with the dietary changes you will see an improvement.

Its never worked that fast for me - maybe in 2-4 hours.

Try cutting unsoluble fibre out of your diet if you have diahorrea or if you are constipated, drink plenty of water and eat plenty of unsoluble fibre foods.
