With the recent surge of interest in golf and the increased numbers of people trying for scholarships it is not nearly as easy as it used to be. Golf is a great game that I love to play. Even if you don't become a good enough player to earn a scholarship, golf is a great hobby to enjoy. It is also one that you can play as you get older where most sports are for younger players.

No way.... Golf is one of the most difficult sports in the world... and it is not easy to get a scholarship, you need to shoot in the -5 to +5 range every time before u can probably even be considered for a scholarship

No way. In fact, people who try to get golf scholarships end up pouring their college funds into private golf league tournament entry fees just to get noticed. But to small schools, it is fairly easy to just play golf with no scholarship.

If you are good, it is easy to get a scholarship. There are not many Tiger Woods or Annika Sorenstam.
My son shots a 71 but did not get a scholarship.
