I am seventeen. I have dark brown hair, green eyes, and a nice personality to go with it. My boyfriend Jason hasnt been very good to me. He doesnt return any calls, emails, or follow through with anything he says. I just found out that my college friend Zach has feelings for me. He told me he doesnt like how my boyfriend is treating me, and keeps telling me i deserve better, and hinting at the fact that he likes me and wants to start something. I have no idea what to do. Help.....

I agree that you deserve better but you shouldn't jump out one relationship and into another. You need to have a conversation w/your boyfriend because even if there wasn't someone "better" in the picture you still to have a talk w/him, possibly break up w/him.
About Jason do you feel the same about him because just because he says that he's going to be a better boyfriend to you than your current doesn't mean that you should jump into his arms, it's good that you're friends first though.

Do Jason and Zach know each other?

Ask Jase why he isn't returning your calls etc cos you want more commitment than that, if you still want to be with him.

Otherwise figure out whether you like Zach back.

If you don't like how Jason is treating you, get rid of him. Obviously, Zach sees this and cares enough about you to tell you and try to get you out of a potentially sticky situation. Go out with Zach- he seems to know what's going on with you.

How do you want to be treated? When you figure that out you will have your answer. Trust your intuition as well. Just because your college friend has feelings for you doesn't mean you have to start dating him. Maybe give Jason a kick to the curb and try being single for a while.

well, it doesn't sound like your bf is being very nice, but try to talk to him if you have any interest in continuing the relationship. if you are over it, then break up with him, but don't go for zach right away either. unfortunately, guys like what they can't get, and he might just be seeing if he has enough control over you to make you break up with the bf. once your single, he may lose interest. if you remain single for a while, and avoid getting with zach or someone else just to get over your ex or make him jealous, you'll be ready to make a new relationship

Why stay with Jason if he hasn't been very good to you. He won't get any better. Go with Zach and give him a chance.

Drop your man now Jason he is so not worth it, and try something new with Zach he sounds like he would treat you better than Jason does. It is about YOU........

Go for the better man. Why do you want to stay with someone that doesn't listen to you call you or email you back. Why would you want that for yourself. Give the other guy a chance it could end up being the greats thing ever!

it doesn't really seem like they are fighting over you.... but you need to make a choice- who do you like better? weigh the pros and cons about each of them, and if the college boy will really be committed to you or if you BF has just been having a really rough time lately. you need to find out the info from your BF if you want to before you starting dating the college guy. good luck.

Give Zach a chance. If he is going to treat you better, stay with him.
