judge non-believers with the bible? they always are saying, "your going to hell because..." or telling us we are sinful because their bible says we are. or this or that...

would they like it if i went around and judged them by some book they dont believe in? would that be fair?

makes me wonder if christians ever take to heart, "do unto others as you would have others do unto you"

look at it this way. the Bible is the "Word of God" and so is Jesus and Jesus is also God so when a Christian owns a Bible and holds it in his hand he is holding God in his hand and so has the authority to tell others what is wrong with them and what the consequences will be if they fail to heed the one holding the authority, holding the Bible/God. any Christian with a Bible is imbued with the authority of God, speaks for God. it's just one of the many perks of being a Christian, infallibility by proxy.

Not all of us are that way. I know it comes off as judgmental but deep down they mean well or they should mean well. We just know that God, heaven, and hell are real and that we are all sinners. Christians are only sinners who have been forgiven but we are no better and are not loved by God any more than anyone else. Just know that there are a few who don't judge people no matter what they do and who really do live the golden rule.

Some Christians do seem to enjoy pointing out the sins of others. They may believe that this will show you that you need to be saved.

Not all Christians attempt to share their faith in this way. Most of us believe that all people have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I would not point out your sins to you. I have my own sins to worry about.

I still believe that I am called to share my faith. I don't do it by discrediting other's beliefs. I feel that I can show the love of Christ best by living a faithfull life. Acts of charity and kindness are how I share my beliefs.

I don't group all non-believers together and make sweeping generalizations about them. I ask that you show the same consideration.

True Christianity is not a set of "thou shall nots" It is a life lived according to what Jesus taught the apostles to teach. God is the judge of those outside the church. God does not need a person to tell you how to be a christian. He can do it himself. I agree with you in your questioning of what some "Christians" say and do. I am a believer of the Bible but I am not your judge.

Lets get something straight. Real christians DO NOT tell unbelivers they are going to hell. Unless you consider nonexistence hell. If you do not believe you have no future past death and if you do not believe in God that is what you expect. There is no hell except perhaps this life for many miserable souls who are in constant pain or privation.

If you believe there is something past death. Consider that sentence to have a double meaning.

HI # 1 Not all christians Judge or label people their going to Hell.

I am sorry that yo have been offended regardless of what ever your religion or non religion status may be.

alot of Christians Are new Christians and they learning for in The Bible which I myself believe Is Gods word and believe the Bible is true, my opinion, so please dont jump at me, thanks
is That if we don't have Jesus as Savior and ask God for forgivenss from our sins & believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins & rose again and except HIM (JESUS) into our Hearts as Lord & Savior.
the Bible teaches
so newbies and others who may be older dont want anyone to go to hell, but are taught to atleast get the word out so people know , and they can make a decion, for some people Don;t know about the Bible or JESUS or God, or believe in any of it either.

I do take into consideration of the words Do under others as you would have others do unto you,
I myself have always been honest & kind as possiable as I can be,
However I wasnt always a christian, and even as a christian Im not perfect, not making excuses , no pun intended,

infact GOD himself doesn't want anyone to go to HELL
Thats why He sacrificed His son JESUS to & JESUS willingly Died for our sins, He paid the price for OUr sins. and Knows none of us are righteous or any more righteous than another.GOD loves us.

also us christians are Judged Everyday, HOW? well for instants we are in Non christians eyes to be perfect and not make mistakes ect, however thats is far from the truth
yes we are to be LIKE-Christ or Christ-like
however We wont change over Night
no one or our habits good or bad dont change over night,
we are not perfect.
I know I am not perfect,
and I get fingers pointed at me daily
Like well Not that you need to know but I have a child out of wedlock I know its wrong, however I gave birth to her and brought and bringing her up the best I can
for instance I am in my 2nd marriage
No i never cheated ect, Theirs was domestic abuse issues that could be resolved other than divorce, I have a son by my 1st marriage.
i get judged daily because i divorces and i have a child out of wedlock
so however also everywhere we go their will people who will judge us, and or you will find hypocrytes, everywhere.

for me I DO take it to HEART
& hope you forgive me if I offended you of my opinions and my answer.

I have a question ? are you christian? or what is your religion or belief?
although doesnt matter in the situation, just curious

all of us are from different walks of Life,
and go thru things we cant explain or rather not explain.

hope for understanding,
I would never tell you to go to hell
why because I care and truely love people in general and I dont want anyone going to hell. not a happy place to be,

If you ask, I will give an authoritative answer, which comes from the Bible. I won't tell someone they are going to Hell, as I don't know their heart, which only they and God do. But if you ask an opinion, I will give it.

i haven't given someone a hell threat since i got truly saved. I just tell them about Jesus. If they don't wanna hear it...so be it. There's 6 billion people to tell about Jesus. I'm not gonna worry about those who just mock him.

:\

Here's something that isn't fair:

Christians that pour their heart out to people and tell them how awesome and loving God has been and how he loves us so much he died for us...

Then people mock them and walk away. Do all non-believers do that? no.

Do all Christians fit your description? No.

Christians are called to be like Jesus, not the pope. Jesus does not fit your description.

makes me wonder if christians ever take to heart, "do unto others as you would have others do unto you"
--------------------
I do.

Jesus loves you more than you and I could ever know.

They judge because they are uncomfortable with non believers but if us christians learned to just love other unconditionally then maybe we would be going somewhere.

Unless you are some incredibly pathetic monster of a person, you are not going to Hell. This Catholic does not judge you...your choices do. No....not choices not to believe, of course! Choices that anyone consciously makes to harm others.

Please do not let the ignoramusses get to you. If they are judging, they are in the wrong. Please be at peace.
