Hi im currently doing work at school about the issues of 9/11 "the falling man" and other issues related. i would like to know what main roads, freeways, or highways that are near to the trade centre. as i live i uk im dont have a clue could anyone please help me?

The World Trade Center (that's how we spell "Center" in America - we don't spell it the British way) is located in Manhattan, one of the five boroughs of New York City (the other boroughs are the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island)
The World Trade Center site is bordered on the south by Liberty Street, on the west by West Street (also known as "The West Side Highway") on the north by Vesey St and on the east by Church St. The 16 acre site is more or less rectangular in shape, with the north end of the site slightly larger than the south end.
it was once home to 7 towers - the two 110 story office towers World Trade Center 1 and World Trade Center 2, a 30 story Marriott hotel in World Trade Center 3, the 6 story high home of the New York Commodity Exchange in World Trade Center 4, the 6 story high back office unit of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in World Trade Center 5, the US Customs House for the Port of New York in World Trade Center 6 and the 50 story Seven World Trade Center.
The office complex was built by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (the corporation, jointly owned by the State of New York and the State of New Jersey that runs our seaports and airports, the PATH train, the trans Hudson bridges and tunnels and a bunch of other stuff) in 1966 - and completed in 1972.
On September 1, 2001, real estate developer Larry Silverstein brought the towers from the Port Authority (the unluckiest real estate deal in New York City history - Silverstein is still paying $ 1.2 milion dollars a month in rent for the site, even though it got blown up 11 days after he bought it from the Port Authority!)
The World Trade Center site also has three subway lines underneath it - New Jersey's PATH train system [PATH = Port Authority Trans Hudson] has it's terminal beneath the site, and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority/New York City Transit subway system's 7th Avenue line and Broadway line pass through the site - the 7th Avenue line's 1 train runs right through the middle of the site from north to south and the Broadway line's N and R trains run along Church St on the eastern end of the site.
All three of those subway tunnels were wrecked when the towers fell - they all had to be rebuilt after the debris was cleared up.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "the falling man" - are you referring to the folks that jumped out of the towers while they were still on fire but before they collapsed?
If so, you need to say "falling MEN (and WOMEN)" because at least 200 people jumped to their deaths on that horrible morning.
They were trapped in the top of the towers, above the flames of the burning planes - they had a truly horrible choice, die slow from the fire or quickly from falling.
They chose the fast way out.
