You probably have really dry hair and your shampoo is probably being pretty harsh on it. Try one of the Dove moisturizing shampoos, which will be much better for your hair, moisturize it, and not strip out all of it's nutrients like most shampoos do (even though you don't know it!)

Spray Static Guard on a hairbrush and brush that through your hair. Takes care of all those little "fly-away" hairs!

soak your hair in conditioer longer in the shower. ur hair is static because it is not moist enough. even adding a bit of mousse to your tips will weigh the hair down so the electrons in it dont attract the staticity in ohter objects.

You can spray it with a little water, and that will make the static go away. Or, you can try using a dryer fabric softener sheet, and rub your hair with that. I think they make them unscented. I used to have this problem and its very annoying! Good luck :-)

This my sound strange, but it works.. Take a dryer sheet ( like Bounce or Downy) and just lightly pass it over your hair like you were smoothing it out. It will take the static right out.

ok here's what you do...it works perfectly:
always have a small lotion with you in a handbag or whatever.
whenever you have static hair take out your lotion and put a little bit on your hands and rub it in as you usually would...but when your hands still have the lotion moisture on it then you brush your hands through your hair....it works miracles!! lol i do it all the time :-)
