Some vehicles have the horn on a separate fuse that can be pulled to disable the horn until you can have it properly repaired. The fuse box may be located inside the passenger compartment near the drivers left leg or it may be in the engine compartment (should be fairly visible with a clip on cover). The cover in either case should have a list of the fuse position and the function. If you have one that is marked horn, that can be pulled until you get to a repair shop.

hahaha...I remember one night when I was still in high school and my older sister's car had a short in it's horn casuing it to suddenly go off at 1:30AM. I woke up and heard her run downstairs and go outside, when the noise hadn't stopped 10 minutes later I went out to take a look and saw her desperately reading the manual. The hood was open so I walked over, grabbed a battery cable and yanked it off the post in a fit of anger. She glared at me as I told her we'll fix it in the morning. "I was gonna pull the fuse, now you may have broken my battery," she screamed. "It shouldn't take 10 minutes to find a fuse and pull it, dumbass," I said back,"you could have pulled all your fuses in 1 minute and half the neighborhood might still be asleep." When I finally was able to get up that morning she had taken the car to a friend to have him fix it.
