Of course not. I recommend a new style for my husband's hair, and while his mom hates it (fooey on her), it looks soooooo much better. He trusts my tastes, and frankly, his hairstyle from 8th grade cut by a 'friend' who does senior ladies' 'perm sets', just wasn't working for him.
If your more attached to your hair than to your girl, then there is some serious growning up that needs to take place.
Unless of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg and your girl wants you to be someone you aren't. If it's always "you should shave your head like Justin Timberlake," and "You should let your stubble grow like Justin Timberlake," and "You should dress more like Justin Timberlake," then you should reconsider if you are a good match.
If she just thinks its time for a change and that you'd look better, why not give it a go? It *will* grow back, after all.

I'm confused about how this works in with weddings. Any guy who would leave a girl over hair is looking for an excuse to leave. The whole reasoning sounds like a pretty immature relationship to me.

well that would be a childish thing to do. But some boys are like that and seems like he's a boy not yet a real man. Who care what your ahir looks like. SO why leave your gf because she want's you to cut your nappy hair. Well if he's like that I am not. I change my hair for you anytime. And if you want to chat with a real man Im me or e-mail me anytime.

It just means she thinks that you may look sexier with a different style. If you don't want to change your hair, tell her you like it the way it is and no you are not going to change it. If she can't accept no for an answer. move on. Take care Heather

My opinion, if you loved her, and she wanted you to look good for her, you would. But then people may see it this way, love me for who i am and the way I look now.
No harm in trying it her way, you can always go back to your old hair color if it isn't what you like, but letting her see that you at least tried and effort to pleasing her woule make her happy. If she continues trying to change your ways then I'd leave her.
My boyfriend has asked me to change my hair color, I tried it and I love it, and everyone compliments me for it!
I wouldn't of ever known if my boyfriend didn't suggest it.

Maybe if I was in High School and my hair was the only way for me to prove who I am and what I am about. You should leave her, let her date someone with some real personality.

you may not get many responses from "guys" seeing as though you've placed this in the wedding category! LOL!
For the sake of both you and her...IT'S ONLY HAIR!!! Unless you're not washing it, I can't see anyreason for anybody to leave anybody over changing/not changing hair.....

it is like breaking up with somebody using fact they have been given tan or using fact they lost their tan and could not bypass tanning interior the wintry climate. Or using fact they get into an twist of fate and characteristic a scar on their cheek. Or she decrease her nails short, relatively of keeping them long and "female." Or she shaved her crotch as quickly as, and she or he now seem prepubescent. To be honest, he's doing her a desire. that's the sign of a controlling guy or woman and that they have an inclination to abuse you down the line.
