If you have the deluxe version of Tax Act, you can e-file for free the first year. The software advises 2 weeks for refund to be direct deposited.

Ok the IRS dont start accepting efile claims til January 12th and we are obviously passed that. My sister filed her taxes Jan 13 and got her refund on the 26th. Go the the IRS website and they should have a payment cycle chart. I filed my taxes efile through taxengine.com and was free and I am getting my refund on the 9th of february, next week!

If you are filing electronically, and have requested your refund to be direct deposited, you can expect that it will take no more than 2 weeks.

If you are claiming the EIC...it may be delayed by 2 weeks, otherwise it takes 10-14 days.

It doesn't take too long, I have filed with them the past 2 years. I think you can have it rushed if you are in a hurry

If you have direct deposit, 5-10 days. Longer if they cut you a check.
