I think you should torment your 11 year old cousin! You should teach him about Karma and let him know that people that hate cats will come back as mice in their next life!

I think you should leave the cat as he is, he is being good. I would tell the parent of the child that comes over to your house that they are not welcome until the 11 year old can behave well to your cat. A pet is like a child, therefore I would never let an abusive child into my house around my children. Or, if you can't tell this relative this, you can place your cat in the bedroom with food, water, and litter and close the door. Just don't allow the child to go near the bedroom where the cat is - the child has to earn the rights to be around the cat.

You are lucky to have a cat with such a good temperment. If it keeps getting tormented though, it's personality will likely change. Keep your monster cousin away from your cat...why don't you try picking on him to see if he likes being tormented. Try the chinese tickle torture or wet willies-annoying stuff like that. Keep irritating him until he gets the message. Maybe then he will see that it isn't fun to be tormented by someone bigger and stronger than yourself. No one likes a bully and he needs a lesson.

Tell your 11 year olf cousin that tormenting an animal is animal abuse and that there are laws agains this sort of thing. Tell him that if one of the neighbors sees him tormenting your cat, that neighbor will immediately call the police. If you or your mom or any other adult in the hiuse catches him tormenting the cat, you or they will call the animal cops. Why? Tell him that it has been proven that many kidds that begin with being cruel to animals eventually become adults who abuse human beings (hurt them and even kill them). So, there is a concerted effort in our society to spot such kids before they become killer adults. Ask your cousin if he wants to spend a few months in a juvenile rehab or juvenile detention becuase that is where he will end up if he abuses an animal or a human being.
Serious... your cousin has to be taught these things NOW becuase these things are TRUE. Ask your mom or dad to help you explain.
Personally, if I were you and that was my cat, I will refuse to let any kid - cousin or not - inside my house to abuse my cat. C'mon now... its your house and it is your cat. Stick up for yourself and your cat. Be a good idea to tell your cousin's parents too about their boy and his behavior. et them discipline him.

Your cat is just a very nice cat and has a good temperment, but if your cousin keeps tormenting it then eventually it'll become mean so be careful.
My cat would bite him, hiss, and scratch his eyes out and try to get away.

First off, if your little cousin's such a nightmare... why don't you ban him from coming over. Or tell him it's YOUR cat and to show some RESPECT. Or tell his mother. Sicking a mean cat on him is not the answer. You could get sued, get someone's cat taken away and put to sleep or injure or hurt the cat, or seriously hurt your cousin... which he's FAMILY. If YOUR OWN child was being mean to your cat, would you sick someone's mean cat on him/her??

Get the kid some help. He will likely grow up to be a criminal. Cats are amazing at what they will put up with. I am sure you do not have the option of not having the kid around, but if you can lock the poor kitty in a room where he can't get at him.

Why do you allow the 11 year old to torment your cat? Where are his parents? This isn't a problem that the cat needs to fix, it's a problem that you and his parents need to fix. And, get him into counseling immediately.

You need to be firm with your cousin, or Aunt, Uncle, Mother, or whoever to get that kid to leave your poor little kitty alone. Just do not stand for your cousin doing this.
