Im not too sure about how much it is in the uk but in the us its about $3500-$5000. It really depends on how bad your case is and the dentist. Some charge more then others, some cases are worst then others... a dentist has to really see your teeth to see how much. you can try getting a basic ortho check.. and they could give you some ball park prices

I had this comparable concern quite a few years in the past. this might ensue each and every time that your braces are adjusted. although, that is something that your gums at last get used to happening. on the different hand, i found that alternating between issues that are warm and chilly against my gums which includes an particularly heat towel or something icy chilly might help with the discomfort. i'm hoping that this helps you. For now, consume something mushy to evade chewing too lots. Congratulations on the being pregnant! i'm hoping that each and all and sundry is going nicely for you and the toddler.

Im not sure about the cost...but when you have them first put in they are a KILLER! You cant eat and your mouth is in pain :( especially cos they put a bar at the top of your mouth which makes it hard to eat, and its painful when you get them tightened. Usually its 18months for treatment but if your teeth are just overcrowded and not that bad like mine were i only had them in for 10months and then the retainer. It is worth the pain though having straight teeth! Trust me you don't stop smiling:)

Yea it is painful at first but it calms down once you get used to it. I only had mine on from august 05 to march 06 and my teeth were very bent!!! My dentist told me to use bongela or teething gel and it was brilliant. Just rub it on your gums and the pain is gone.....

I dont know how much they are, but crikey they hurt like hell when first put on, and every time they get tightened. I felt like ripping my teeth out for relief.......

I had mine on for 3 years, but had some very big gaps.

Well worth it though.
