I've heard that you can straighten hair with milk? Is this true? Can I gt some feedback on this?

I've heard that too. I heard that you should use milk on your hair before you straighten it, so that it is not as dry, and does not get as damaged.

So... do you rinse the milk off, or not?
Because if you dont rinse it, wont your hair stink when the milk goes rancid??
