It's my first wedding anniversry. My wife and I have got a week off from the 9th of March. We want somewhere that's guaranteed to be hot but don't want to spend a fortune!! If anyone can go as far as recommending a hotel we'd want to be 3*+ and All Inclusive. Thanks!!

I spent two weeks at the Coral Sea Resort in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt during Christmas 2005. Even at this time of year it was about 25 degrees centigrade. We liked it so much that we went back to the same hotel during the following Easter for another two weeks. By then the temperature was pushing the mid 30s.

If you were to go down in early March it should be averaging about 30 degrees centigrade with guaranteed sunshine. The Coral Sea Resort is a 4 star hotel and its an absolute dream. More like an Arabian Palace than a hotel.

There is so much to do down there. You can, of course, just sunbathe. But in addition there is excellent snorkelling and scuba diving to be had in the coral reefs of the Red Sea. You can also go quad biking in the Sinai desert, visit Cairo and Luxor and even play golf.

Puerto Vallarta in Mexico is fabulous in March and you can get
charming, reasonably priced hotels....stay away from the big
ones. The all have lovely tiled patios, fountains and warm and
welcoming hosts. San Miguel del Allende is wonderful too......
a little village in the mountains outside of Mexico City with
many art galleries and great restaurants, boutiques and
an exciting night life. Hawaii is good..Maui..inland is not
touristy and very laid back Island Style. I used to stay at
The Heavenly Hana (in Hana) where there are The Seven
Sacred Pools that you can swing across on vines like
Tarzan and Jane. It's a very down home place with few
amenities but the privacy and sounds of nature make up
for this. It's not too far from Kula, a cooler spot up the
mountain where they have dancing and restaurants.
In Europe, about the only hot place in March is Portugal and with
the airfares less expensive this time of year, you could
experience a brand new culture, hear the haunting Fado
music and sample their incredible food. The people are lovely
there too. Look at a map and pick a small town down on
the tip...many intriguing fishing villages. Enjoy!
