It very much depends on your point of view as to whether an unwanted pregnancy is more disastrous than acne! As desperate as I have been to cure my acne and much as I adore my two children I would not have wanted a failed contraceptive method. Results have shown that Diane-35® is as effective as oral tetracycline or minocycline after 6 months of use. The largest study to date (on 1,161 patients) showed that 192 patients had 100% improvement after 18 months.
It is not clear that sufficient clinical trials have been carried have been carried out as an oral contraceptive benefiting acne sufferers’ after all that is not its primary purpose.
Yasmin birth control acne relief has long been marketed as an acne treatment, but it seems that just as many women reported that there skin is as bad as it has ever been. Birth control pill acne treatment and side effects:
Oral contraceptives are always being developed to minimize side effects; however there are some that you should be aware of:

I think planned parenthood could help, but you will have to call & find out. Are you washing your face morning & night? You have to do both, It helped my skin & I notice a change when I get lazy

You were on it for a year, now your mom is refusing to allow you to continue taking it? That's kind of weird. In most states a minor must have parental permission for medical treatment regardless of type unless their life or limb is in danger, just to clear that up right now.
If it's JUST acne you're worried about depending on the type of acne you get, you can be perscribed other creams. Several creams REQUIRE you to be on birth control to use them in many states now (Retin A) because they are known to cause severe deformities in babies born to mothers using it. So you may want to bring this up with your mom - If you switch to another drug, for your acne, you might have to be on birth control anyway. Either way, it's probably time for a frank talk with your mom. I'm guessing you're a mid-to-late teenager. Honestly, I'd rather have my daughter on birth control, regardless of reason, than be raising her babies.
My personal belief after having acne for 10 years - If it works for you, USE IT. It doesn't bother me as much in adulthood now as it did as a teenager, but I still get alot of it. I've never really been able to stick to any treatment for my acne except birth control (which only helps it mildly)

Yes, PP and other charities can get you the pills for free or cheap. Or if you have enough money just go to the doctor on your own, your mom can't do anything about it and the doctor can't tell her about it.
