Notice the "if" please. There is no point in saying "God is imaginary," that is your opinion which is totally irrelevant to this question.

We created computers, but we are not bound by the "laws" of bi-nary coding, nor could a computer use bi-nary coding to become a better, self concious computer and effectively explain humanity and how we created the computer.

Pheonix: Yes, but what are you trying to say by that?

Zero Cool: "Pointing to" and "proving" are not the same thing. Even many atheists or agnostics will admit that there is evidence for God, but not proof.

Dave P, I don't know what you are trying to say, but you inadvertantly made another one of my points. God created us for a purpose, too, and he expects us to serve it, or deal with the consequences of our disobediance. If your scale stops weighing you correctly, do you not discard it and get a new one? Only, God is always willing to "resore" us, if we let him.

One of the greatest rabbis of the Middle Ages Maimonides wrote, "if science and Torah were misaligned, it was either because science was not understood or the Torah was misinterpreted." Hence, he argued that if science proved a point, then the finding should be accepted and scripture should be interpreted accordingly.
True but it was God that gave us the intellect to think which allowed us to develop cultures and to adapt, which led us to the written language, which pushed in the sciences to be recorded and understood, and that led us to the technological revolution of today. If God did not allow us to evolve and did not allow us to extend our brains it would be nothing to separate us from the cockroaches. The bi-nary coding is in a way of God providing us with the understanding of how He created life. How everything in this universe is connected and how God controls everything.
Something to think about.

I could create a scale and still expect it to weigh me. I could create a camera and expect it to record my photograph. I could create a tape measure and expect it to measure me. I could go on.

Your premise reflects the lack of any courses in logic in your home school curriculum.

As far as a computer, aside from the fact that there are no "laws of bi-nary coding", yes, I think that someday we will produce computers which are self conscious (although it may be a bit more difficult to achieve "self concious" ness).

God did not create science, man did. If God did create science it would have left marks and proved God in the same ways that the archetecture of computers show evidence that they were created by english speaking creatures with ten fingures for keyboarding and optical systems able to see the monitor screen.

So you’re saying that God can’t be proven? What a cop out. I mean, that’s the worlds biggest cop out. You could say that about anything though. If fairies aren’t bound by the laws of science, than science can’t prove fairies, or magic frogs or unicorns or the great spaghetti monster for that matter.

It’s lazy. If a god exists, he exists within the boundaries of science. Not because I CAN imagine a god that doesn’t, but because what I CAN imagine doesn’t matter.

Oh my gosh, I cannot believe this question. I feel like screaming sometimes "OPEN YOUR EYES!"
The truth is right in front of you! Science DOES prove God- Look at how complex it is! Look at everything that is created- and the purpose of so many things that have been created- Definately there is a Creator and it is God!

I dont think anyone expects science to prove God... in fact, that seems a little far-fetched to me...

The question is a little confusing... i hope someone has a good answer... id love to know.

Edit: Ignosticism (above)... man didnt create science either... science just is. which is why i found this question hard to answer.

Intelligent men are capable of science or technology in their imaginations. The more important question is are these imaginations inspired by God or satan? I've seen evidence of both, right now satan has the majority of control.

Man created both god and science.

it's so interesting how people think and how they believe in something theirs no proof of.
