he always looks....
like i will pass him and look straight at him , but he doesnt look back.
but then when im at my locker and i look to the side..he is staring at me and walking away.
hes done this numerous times

He must be shy. Guys usually, unless they're over-confident or they don't like you, they won't look at you while they talk to/pass you. if he's looking when you're far away, then he wants to talk to/ meet you, but he's shy. If there's on thing guys are afraid of-it's being rejected.

Maybe he just doesn't like you, but even more likely is that he's just very shy. Sometimes guys that are shy, like I used to be, respond better in a non confrontational setting, like exchanging notes. If you like him, and you're trying to start a friendship with him, try slipping a note into his locker, saying something that he might respond to, like maybe: that was a great answer you gave in class, or congratulations for acing that test, nice boots, or whatever. If there is any interest on his part he'll probably answer you with a note in your locker. If he does respond, you can take it to the next level. Talk to him about something that he has to say more than "hi" to. Ask if he'd be willing to help you with your "whatever the subject is", because he seems to understand it so well in class. The worst he can do is say no.

I think he likes what he sees, but is a bit shy. Ask him out. Just for a coffee somewhere. Who knows, maybe he will be the one.

He is shy but it is sure he likes you.May be your looks too good for him and He loves you.
