If your a novice in this field don't use Most Haunted as inspiration, it is a complete farce. You should try this link for the International Spiritualist Federation.
When you die you stay on earth as a ghost and inhabit an old or run-down building. When people enter the premises you start rattling the pipes etc.

I am a Spiritualist too so I probably can't help much.
I think your loved ones come and get you when it's your time but who knows for sure?
For goodness sake, don't believe everything you see on Most Haunted! Not every noise you hear is a ghost. Even if the lights are turned off.

Well now chealrace the word of God says not to mess with the dead and you would do well to leave well alone and spiritualists who do not tell you that you could end up talking with a daemon if you do. Because they follow the father of lies, with there half heeling's and leave people in a worst state than they were when they started I've seen it and its not funny. The only way to find out any thing is to ask God and his son Jesus Christ to lead you by the power of the Holy Spirit. that way you get to stay out of trouble. Your in J. C. peter william lack. servant a friend of the most high The Great I AM God YAHWEH and his son Jesus Christ.

Theories are researched but still unproven statements or ,if you like, opinions that have some merit.
We all would LOVE to know what happens when we DIE.Don't be afraid of the word.
I understand, and can feel you're upset with me.Passing over means we never die but we, how to say this,---- how about transfer.Does that work?
Whatever you and I call it,WE WILL NEVER KNOW. We can just theorize.
I wish you the all the happiness in your present and your future life, if there is an afterlife or there is BLANK. Either way it won't hurt;right?

No matter how many "hypotheses" people have (they're not theories, theories have at least *some* evidence to back them up)...none of these hypotheses have any evidence of any kind to show they are correct, so it's all just wishful thinking and superstition.
There is no "passing over." Your consciousness is entirely contained in the physical matter of your brain. When you die, your brain dies -- and there is nothing left of "you" to pass anywhere.
Please, come join the rest of us in the 21st century, and leave ancient superstitions for which there is no evidence of any kind in the past where they belong...
Peace.

WOW... you are like a mind reader... I was thinking about this earlier. You see... I am a catholic, I don't go to church everyweek (well, hardly ever) but I do believe in god. I believe that when we die we will go to heaven and we will know all the answers to what has mistified us our entire lives... or do we go to where we was before we were born?
