I know that the Chinese have gone hog wild with their pollution and industry, but can someone direct me to an article that explains exactly how scientists determined that global warming is 90% likely caused by man more so than the well-documented increased heat of the sun? No politics, please.

The article cited didn't contain any scientific reasons. If you think you have an article that does, please pull a quote.

The information doesn't seem to have been released yet. Even so, the previous report said it was "very likely" caused by humans, so how did they know it was different from all the other times the world had global warming without humans?

All of the articles I have read explain it in pretty plain terms. The report released today is the result of scientific, peer reviewed, studies conducted over the last five years. The report states in general terms the conclusions of all of these scientific studies that were conducted by scientists from 133 countries.

Here is a link to an excellent article that explains how biological activity has had severe impacts on the atmosphere and global climate over the entire history of the planet.

Carbon dioxide and other air pollution that is collecting in the atmosphere like a thickening blanket, trapping the sun's heat and causing the planet to warm up. Coal-burning power plants are the largest U.S. source of carbon dioxide pollution -- they produce 2.5 billion tons every year. Automobiles, the second largest source, create nearly 1.5 billion tons of CO2 annually.

This part of the globe is freezing right now-central USA. I could personally use a little global warming in my back yard-haven't been able to feel warm for over a week and won't be above freezing temperature wise for at least another week. Please bring me some global warmth.

It isn't a political issue. You asked this question on a good day; the UN published its report comprised of input from 2,500 scientists.
