. be original- your crush will like the fact that you stand out ( in a good way!) and be a leader, not a folower of a shallow mean girl.
. confidence and independence are attractive to guys- they feel that you are in control without being bossy and do what you want to do, and that you don't take orders from the popular girls. they think that if your confident you are cool and your own person who knows what she is doing, and that you aren't afraid to speak your mind.

boys are complex, but mostly all guys don't expect you to become paris hilton so you can date. just follow those things and he will notice you and may become your boyfriend!
