The "Unforgiveable sin" is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. This means that you constantly shun the pleadings of the Holy Spirit for so long that you no longer hear them. It's like setting an alarm clock for a deaf person. Once you have made yourself unreachable, the Holy Spirit can no longer convince you, and you are unlikely to ever change your mind, therefore you will be lost by your own choice. Someone who accepts Jesus into their heart will be saved indeed, but someone who has blasphemed the Holy Spirit is beyond reach and will never accept Jesus into their heart.

The logic you have been told is confusing. you should be confused.
To sin against the Hold Ghost, I define as "to deny God after having a perfect knowledge of him"
So if you or I only have faith in God, and not yet a perfect knowledge, we can not commit that sin.
Check out the teachings in the link I provided for a church that teaches this, it is not confusing. Yes I provided a link to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, commonly refereed to as the "Mormons"
On another subject, I see your about out of points for asking so many questions. If you need more points go to some of the questions you have asked and choose a best answer for each of them. That will give you 3 points each.

Jesus died on the cross so that our sins can be forgiven. Most of us sin everyday. God has told to ask for forgiveness and if we really mean it in our hearts we will be forgiven. This doesn't mean we can do what ever we want and say a prayer, our heart has to truly want forgiveness and live in his word. This does mean when we do something and are sorry we have don it and ask for forgiveness he forgives. Your heart being right with God is the only thing that will get you to Heaven, he answers our prayers even when we think he hasn't. Pray for understanding and repent in your prayers he is listening all the time. I will remember you in my prayers.

God knows your struggles and if you accept Christ into your heart and trust in Him then you are saved. What is in the past leave behind and press forward, looking to God the author and finisher of your faith. Confusion is not from God, it is from Satan. Trust in God to forgive the past.

I'm not sure what your question is, but basically it's just a belief held by some people.
