what you need to understand is that there are two forms of satanism and luciferianism there's the theistic versions which believes in satan or lucifer as a force and some might bow down and pray to him and then there's the atheistic versions which are more philosophical as they view satan and lucifer as symbolic and worship themselves as their own god anyway here's a couple of links for you

Satanists are different from Devil Worshipers. Actually Satanism is pretty interesting, it has to do with logic and self and not putting your energies into made-up hocus-pocus. They call is Satanism because of all the mythical beings, Satan wanted most for mankind to be itself, not some tool oppressed by God. I don't know if Satanists actually BELIEVE in a Satan per se, only in the concept and values of Satan.
Atheists are the other hand assign no special attributes, concepts, values, or otherwise to any mythical being, except the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

First up, i'm a Christian, yet (respectfully) your question would not quite make any experience. Muslims have faith in the comparable God as Christians (only stated as a diverse call) and have faith that there is a devil (stated as Iblis) who reasons human beings to sin, very similar to the Christian devil. So Muslims won't have the ability to be satanists. additionally, many contributors of my family contributors are atheists, and that they don't have shrines to lucifer mendacity around the homestead. With all due admire, do slightly greater study till now making such claims.

Those people who believe in a Christian devil and choose to worship that entity usually call themselves very specifically "devil worshipers", not Satanists.
Frankly, there is a whole lot of information about Satanism on the net. If you are really interested in finding out about it I would try looking at Beliefnet.com or religioustolerance.org. At Beliefnet in the community areas you can read posts by Satanists themselves about their beliefs and practices. And at religioustolerance.org you can find some basic information. By the way I'm a Christian, but I believe in looking at what people actually believe as opposed to rumors, stereotypes and propaganda about them.
