Ok I like this guy...and I told my freind...but she told him and now he thinks it's true (which it is) but he has a girlfriend and I'm kinda stuck in a sticky situation...and I need to convince him that I don't like him...becuase I want everything to be back to normal

Damage is done. If you didn't know he had a girlfriend apologize and tell him you didn't know he had a girlfriend and even if you did know he had a girlfriend apologize and let him know that you didn't put your friend up to telling him you like him. You told her thinking she could keep it quite but you were wrong. Good luck.

don't try to convince him that you don't, that would be a lie. Just be normal around him... don't get all ga ga or just a bad, don't run away. Just treat him like you would a friend who is of the same gender. He will soon see how great of a person you are, and even if you guys don't ever date, you may become great friends. Whatever you do though... if he breaks up with the other girl for you remember that he'll do it TO you for someone else. If he breaks up with his girlfriend, make sure you know that there is a good reason before you say yes to dating him. But for now, things may seem awkward, but realize that it's just as awkward for him. He needs to know that you aren't completely wierded out before he can get rid of the feeling himself. As Shakespere said : "the course of love never did run smooth." So true... so true

why do u want to tell him that u dont love him?love shud be something which can face any obstacles unless u love him for a time pass.Y worry about the problems it will create if the love for the person is there core to ur heart??Let it remain and let him know that u love him.u did the right thing,keep it up

Just tell him you go for some one else. Or go out with some else for a while. Or you could just leave it alone. Maybe it will pass or you might get some good out of it.

Tell him that you don't care that he has a girlfriend and find someone else. He may get jealous or guilty.
