A cool Home Decor Idea would be to use it as a unique container for potpourri and display items.
Instead of adding just a simple bag of potpourri, do some collecting and add favorite collections of seashells, pinecones, beautiful stones, etc.
Lay your collection in the bottom then add potpourri to about 1/3 from the top. Dig a bit of a "well" in the potpourri then add a decorative candle holder and scented candle.
I did this with a small one in my own home and now it's not only a conversation piece (and I get the most fascinating comments), but it also acts as a centerpiece on a table and serves to scent the room continually.
Refresh the scent of your potpourri about every 30 days with a few drops of your favorite scented oil.
Rather than purchasing "potpourri" scents, use "candle" scents (located in your local craft store). They are about 1/2 the price and are much stronger which means a longer lasting fragrance!

I like the idea for a terrarium -- I haven't thought about terrariums in ages! But here are a couple more ideas: Have you seen those bamboo stalks that grow in just a few inches of water in some rocks? You could get polished river rocks or marbles and fill the bottom few inches of the tank with rocks and then stick in some of those bamboo stalks. The rocks hold them up, and you could create some neat design with them in the tank. My other idea is: do you like to collect anything? Use the fish tank to showcase something that you collect. Do you like Gnomes or action figures? Create a scene of some sort in the fish tank. (I like to re-arrange my sister's assortment of action figures and mini-stuffed animals in a Scene of Mayhem -- where her Transformer stomps on Hello Kitty's head, etc.).

When you empty your pockets every day, put all your change in it. Then start putting ones, then fives, then tens. You will be surprised haw fast it adds up. I started doing this, and within a couple months, I had over $500. in there. I was amazed how fast it added up. When it starts getting full, then go ahead and have it shipped to me. (Hey, it was my idea, I should get something for it.)
