I consume mass quantities of food, alcohol, expensive coffee, money, books, airplanes, buildings, bugs, trains, mountains, dirt, rocks, and trolls. Is this changing who I am ?

Good question.
I think that perhaps who you are might be driving you to consume.
But I could also see that overconsumption might change your perception of the world.
It's a chicken-and-egg question, I think.
