Prophecies
before Isaiah's perfect picture of Jesus as our Messiah for all people-here is a proof that only Jesus can be the Messiah=
Micah 5:1&2 chapter 5 verses 1 In Hebrew 2 in English Scriptures "Bethlehem though you are small among Israel out of you shall come forth him from eternity."
since Bethlehem was given to the arabs-the Messiah today would have to be an arab!
Isaiah 9:6 "Unto you a child will be born, a Son is given, and he will be almighty God, the wonderful counselor, and the prince of Shalom/Peace."
Isaiah 52:13-53:12 He will be exaulted. First he will be marred more than any man. He will be despised and rejected. He will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins. He will see his seed and prosper.
the way to know is to pray-"Show me who the Messiah is?"
and His words spoken from heaven tell us "I love you, and knock on your heart to come in deliver from sin and become your friend." Revelation 1:1&3:19&20
Who do you think the Messiah is??

Yeshua ben Yosef is the only person whose life ever fulfilled the prophecies written about him hundreds of years before -- even down to the casting lots for his garments, something over which he had no control.
And please ignore any criticism or comments. You are a Messianic Jew, and that's pleasing to G-d.

Please read my starred answer to ' how did god made he's son?'
I so believe and know He is the Messiah and forever will be greatful that He took me under His wing, so to speak. I sought and I found... just as the Bible declares, "Seek and you WILL find." ... and God is faithful to keep His promises.
If the messiah were arab that would be fine with me, if he were black, whit asian... fine with me... Jesus is the MESSIAH and this is all that matters to me... not his race or color. He has surpassed any human made barriors. He is God just as He declared, "I AM." What greater God than the 'I am?'
One of my goals this year is to go to Messianic Temple.
AARON:
Oh my goodness, I just read what AARON wrote- he is so wrong to be a judgemental Christian like this before the Lord. This is sin. Jesus was born into the Jewish faith. He spoke at the synagouges, He loved the Jewish people, His mother was a Jew... to make a statement like he did brings tears to my eyes... and I am sure to the Lords- Remember, just as Christ declared on the cross- Father forgive them for they know not what they have done".

Yeshua as the original name for Jesus
Major events in Jesus's life in the Gospels
The claim that the form Yeshua is the original name for Jesus is debatable. The English name Jesus derives from the Late Latin name Iesus, which transliterates the Koine Greek name ἸηÏÎ¿á¿¦Ï IÄsoûs. In the New Testament, this may stand for either Yehoshua or Yeshua or the Greek form itself may be the original name.

I enjoyed your remarks. I am a Christian and I believe that you are what the Messiah intended the Jewish race to be and do. You were chosen by God as His special people. The Jewish nation was to bring the gospel message to the Gentiles. And they did actually, through the apostle Paul, or should I say Saul. To me there is nothing as interesting as a Jewish Christian and there are some of you out there. God Bless

You got it right. Jesus is the Messiah. The exact same one that Isaiah and many others were so fond of prophesying about.

I think Paul Reubens is Messiah. He too has been despised and rejected. We'll see if he'll one day die for our sins. I think the melodrama is not yet fully played out.

I'm not sure how to make this more clear. Belief in Christ makes you a CHRISTIAN. You can decieve one another as much as you want. You can try to destroy Judaism from the inside...which is what you do....but you are a CHRSITIAN. Jews do not accept Christ as saviour. The Jews who did became CHRISTIANS. Like you are a CHRISTIAN. We have enough problems from without...do we need traitors from within?
