well there is random guy in college who i just used to see on the stairs and roaming about.
one day we just talked and all... after i found he was a friend of a friend.
well now he has been like making a lot of eye contact, i find him in the biology department (where i am) alot more while he is an engineer.
we sometimes have lunch together, and i always end up talking to him in the common room. yesterday he came all the way to my lab (which no one ever comes to) just to say that he was leaving for home. my lab is like away from civilization at college.
today he came to the lab 4 times for strange reasons like that it is more sunny in the microbiology lab!!!!
does he like me? he is kinda cute...
should i wait for him to ask me out or should i?

Take this from a guy... Make your move.
I guarantee you he's wondering if you like him or not. Based on your description, he definitely likes you, but is too shy to ask you out. If you just say something like, "Lets go grab some lunch," it will make the whole situation a lot easier.

Give him one of those cute "little-kid" cards for Valentine's day, like one that has the lollipop attached to it. Ask him to meet you for a Coke or something during "recess". This will be sort of like asking him on a date as well as a mini-date in itself. Its sort of like a "pre-date" or a "dating interview". If he recieved this well then likely he'll be encouraged to ask you out and possibly reveal more of his feelings to you. If things don't go over or feel quite right then you can play it off like it was a cute friendly kind of thing and then it will all just blow over. Good Luck!!!

It sounds like he does like you and is trying to get the courage up to ask you out!! Maybe he is afraid that you will turn him down or just trying to get to know you a little better.
If there is something going on, why not ask him if hed like to go hang out with you and see what he says?? You got nothing to lose and everything to gain!! Best of Luck!!

i know what your going through i love my best friend. well i think you should try to flirt a little and to see if he goes with the flow. or just ask him and see what he says.
if he went to the lab for strange reason it must be for something else maybe.

YES, ask him out. Especailly if he's taking all the extra time and effort to talk to you. He must have a thing for you. Maybe he's shy.
