Here's the thing: my girlfriend and I have been going out for quite some time now. I'm 16, she's 15. Things are going great; we truly love each other. Recently she's saying that she wants to have sex. I want to, I really do, but I'm not totally sure. She's planned it all out to make sure she won't get pregnant, but...I'm not totally sure if we should. Thoughts? Opinions? Please?!?

Don't listen to that dude. No matter how much someone plans on not getting pregnant. It can still happen. There are other "things" you can do if you want that won't put you in that position. if you truly are having doubts. Don't do it. It's much better when you are ready and absolutely sure it's the right time.

I was 15 the first time I had sex and I regretted it so much. I really wished I had waited a little bit longer. The first time is really not that good - you really should be 100% sure before you do it - and well done you both seem very sensible to be talking about precautions. There is no rush just make sure you are both making the right decision before you go ahead because it is something you can't take back.

There is no harm in waiting. If you're not sure, don't do it.
