when i called him to call he said he is with his frnd and asked me to call the next morning but i did not as i was upset with what he said. is this a right move to drag him to me or the otherwise

I would find it rude if my friend sat there gabbing to someone on the phone while I was visiting. He was doing the polite thing by asking you to call the next day when he would have more time to talk to you. I think you would have been more upset if he 1.) rushed thru your conversation because his friend was there. Or 2.)was distracted during the conversation because he was with his friend. Be happy he wanted to give you his undevided attention.
