I just read about an acupuncture-like tip for headaches: pinch and rub the webbing between your index finger and thumb for 30 seconds. Continue intermittently for up to 3 minutes; I guess you can alternate the right and left hands. It's supposed to relieve the pain. Haven't tried it yet as I haven't had a headache in a while. It was in a recent issue of a fitness magazine--either Health, Shape, Fitness, or Experience LIfe. Good luck!

Dehydration is a leading cause of headaches, so if you can chug a couple glasses of water, you may feel better soon. If you use caffeine regularly, but haven't had any in several hours, you may be suffering from caffeine withdrawal--a coffee or a Coke would fix you up in that case. If you want to try an over-the-counter pain reliever, I've always found Excedrin to be the most effective for headaches.

Put a cold cloth on your forehead & lay down in a dark quiet room, after taking a couple of pills for the pain.
