You have the big ceremony, cake, flowers, lots of money. You cant wait to dance with your husband and the band shows up but never sets up their instruments. Finally it gets time to dance and they say they thought since it was moved from outside into a church it wouldnt be appropriate. You never get a chance to dance at your wedding. What do you do to make up for it so you never have the stigma over your head?

The one thing I wanted at my wedding was a dance, but the only place to dance was already booked and we couldn't change the date (huge family = huge complications), so we didn't dance. My sister and cousins accidently cut and served the top layer of our cake as well, so for our anniversary every year - two years so far - (yes cheesy) we have the lady who made our cake, make our top layer again and we go dancing.

It's a beautiful, romantic night where we talk about why we fell in love with each other and what the best part of our wedding day was. I wouldn't trade our crazy mixed-up wedding day!

You can't get that time back.....the only think I would recommend is to take EVERY oppourtunity to dance with your husband....even if its in the middle of a busy sidewalk or in the middle of your living room. My fiance and I like to dance when we're on long car trips.....just sitting in the car if a good song comes on. We get all silly, its a lot of fun!!

Get plenty of dancing done on the honeymoon....Whats more romantic than dancing by the moonlight on a private balcony where you can enjoy being in the company of your husband/wife without everyone watching u!

Well, you really don't - just happened to be bad planning.
Take every opportunity now to dance with your husband!!! We usually end up doing it in the middle of the kitchen!

I would get my money back for the band, and have another party where all we would do is dance.
