You can't really. One way to increase your chances is to find someone you are VERY comfortable with. If you have that closeness, you are more likely to be more compatible in bed. If you are self conscious or nervous it won't be as good.
Take the time to get to know your partner before you jump into bed, it is worth it once you get there!

No way to tell just looking. Maybe you can hear his track record. Word gets around. If he is any good, there will be tons of females around him. Keep your eyes open.

I think if they kiss real good, chances are they do 'other things' real good. My husband was the best kiss I ever had, and the other things ;) matched the kiss.....
