Yes it does. Paxil has this side effect on its own & combined with Wellbutrin, the effects are stronger.
Paxil & Wellbutrin aren't for everyone. If your doctor has combined these two medications, then Paxil is no longer working for your depression, anxiety, etc. Consider asking your doctor for another anti-depressant or anti-anxiety medication. Cymbalta is great for depression. Ask your doctor about switching to it or another medication. NEVER stop taking your medications without consulting your doctor first.

Wellbutrin generally has a positive effect on sexual function, and can reduce sexual side effects of SSRI's like Paxil. The two medications are completely different and the fact that your doctor prescribed both doesn't mean the Paxil is not working. (Does the first answerer work for the company that makes Cymbalta?!) Wellbutrin works on dopamine and norepinephrine while Paxil works on serotonin. It is not unusual for doctors to prescribe both.

Paxil will definitely cause sexual side effects, but wellbutrin does not cause any sexual side effects .It also helps with cigarette cravings. I know these meds because I use to take paxil but I switched to wellbutrin ..

When my wife was on depression meds, including wellbutrin, med mixing was bad news. We learned that the hard way.
