I have a gestetner dsm515pfd mulitpurpose printer/scanner. I can' scan to HP photo printer? "error occurred"?

The only error message is "error occured while trying to open 102 usb"

Since you didn't state what OS you're using, I'm GUESSING it may be Windows XP SP2.

Try plugging it in a different USB port. Did you install the drivers?
