desire an older man. I am confident I am attractive, but do any of you prefer older guys for a particular reason? Maturity, sex, money, all the above?

Many girls/women prefer older men, but the acceptability of a girl in her 20's daing a man in his late 30's/40's will vary based on where you live. I live in Dallas, I'm 23, and I have girlfriends who have dated men your age and older. It's more common here than in other cities, though.

We like older men primarily because we want someone who can hold an intellectual conversation, who has more life experience than we do, who has opinions on things other than beer/boobs/football. Women like to look up to their partners, and the fact is that women are more mature than men of their same age--whether you're talking about 20, 30, or 40 year olds. We also happen to prefer someone with money and/or the ambition to make money. Girls don't just date guys for money, but it's expected to be part of the package with an older partner--if you're going to date a broke guy and you're 24, you're probably not going to pick a 40 yr old unless those other factors are really strong.

I don't prefer anyone by age its more attraction for me, now I did meet a guy who was 32 and I am 26, I thought it would be better than previous relationships because he would be older and more mature but in fact he wasn't, so I don't think age has anything to do with it, it is more of the person.

I am 30 and much prefer someone who is about 1-5 years older than me. However, I think if the guy is older than my ideal age bandwidth, but is kind, caring and matured....i don't see why I can't give him a chance.....

Older men should be desired for their maturity, sex, and money. but there are some loser older guys too. If you have something to bring to the table, then you are ok.

I have always dated older guys because they have the money to take you places. The are secure and can carry great conversations.

I don't, I'd rather he's my age or maybe 2 to 3 years older then me, or 2-3 years younger then me, I couldn't really explaine why it's like that now.

I would think that the woman would rate you on more then maturity sex or money and love you for you. If she doesnt then your age doesnt matter. It seems to matter to you though alot.

I'm 28, and I really do like older men. Most seem to know what they want from life, and most have had enough sexual experiences to know what a woman wants.

Age doesn't matter. Maturity and kindness are more important.
