could anyone tell me any hting about showing border terriers?

Have a look at this site:
http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/67 which lists the Border Terrier Clubs you can join.
Also have a look here:
http://www.theborderterrierclub.co.uk/
If your dog is KC Registered in your name you can enter him/her at any relevent shows - buy Dog World or Our Dogs for forthcoming shows.
If your dog is not KC reg. , you can still enter at Companion Shows and at Lurcher & Terrier Shows.

it would also be a good idea to find out about ringcraft classes there you will find people who will help you learn how to stand your dog and everything else you need to know about showing
