If you have earned income, you should file a return. If this is self employment income, you need to file to pay social security and medicare tax on it. If it is W-2 income, you will more than likely end up with a refund.

Oh course and it's to your benefit to do so because of EIC or earned income credit. Meaning you may get a refund!
Turbo Tax has a low income free on-line tax service called Tax Freedom.
They let you use their software on-line for free. Some states will link to it also for state returns.
Good Luck!

Yes, if you paid federal income tax, all of your tax payment will be refunded. That's a good reason to file.

Not only can you, but you should if they withheld any state, local, or federal income tax from your pay.

Yes, you can...it's always best to file from every job you've ever worked...unless you want to get amended, which isn't good.

Not only can you, but you must. You will likely receive a refund, so why not?
