As someone who is 21 years old, you really don't have to be in such a hurry. Sometimes I miss the days in my life when my friends and I weren't drinking. It was much simpler and it was easier to have fun in a group of friends. You have many, many beer drinking years ahead of you. You don't necessarily have to wait until you are 21, but at least wait until you're 18 and legally responsible for yourself.

Why do you want to drink beers?
Tell the answer of that question to your mother.

i don't reccommend doing this but if you know anybody outside of america, email them and have them send you some beer, it'll be expensive for shipping though. It'll work too since I have done this twice, though I'm 20 and I rarely drink anyways

This is something that you should really think about. Drinking to soon can lead to alcoholism. I think that any alcohol beverage at this age is a no no. I have dealt with this issue several times in my family and I cannot stress enough, DON'T START.

What's the rush. Wait til your 21,You have plenty of time. Drinking is not it's cracked up to be. Trust me if you started now, you may regret it, although when you turn 21 you may also regret it.

What you can do is to listen to your mother. She has your best interest at heart. Do you have friends that have drank liquor and gotten sick, puked, done things that they regret? This is lives way of teaching us what to do and what not to do. You have an opportunity to learn a life lesson at someone elses expense. Tell her that you trust her judgment and will do as she has asked. It will show that you are maturing.
