For all non-science majors: a theory is the term given to a scientific idea that is represented by numerous facts and observation. Perhaps you all are thinking of a hypothesis when you smugly say "It's only a theory"

Evolution theory - scientific explanation for the "fact"
"Fact"
A "fact" in science is an observation.
"Theory"
A current "theory" in science is an explanation of nature that has never been refuted and is supported empirically.
That means: Evolution = theory, and fact
To creationists: You may not find evidence in evolution (or you just don't want to, or you just might act like a kid), however, even if creation is true, there's no way to predict how would humans survive. You really do suck

where is the "fact" of non-inter-species evolution? there is NO emperical evidence of muck or apes or fish evolving into other species. i was an anthropology major in college. i took all the classes and was never presented with any factual evidence. i was shown theories and hypothosis, but never hard evidence. i have continued to try to find the facts, but they just don't exist.

there is evolution within species, but nothing to suggest hte other.
and if you ask a question, then wait for an answer and don't assume that if a person has a differing opinion, that they are lying.

there is no proof of macro evolution. if it took billions of year to man evolve from apes, where are the half ape men today, why are there still apes and still men, if anything the apes and half ape half men should have eventually perished while the evolved ones reigned, how come there is no abudance of half and half creatures where are the billions of fossils to prove this, man takes a tooth out of the ground and finds a couple bones 5 miles aways and then constructs a theory of what one would look like, half ape man. the fact is even if there is a few old skeletons found that were small , we even today have genetic deformities and midgets so it doesnt say anything, it is false friend micro is the way and its from god anyways.
