I think that if your phone conversations have been on a level of friends talking, and did not deviate to a more sexual type nature, it could work. The best relationships start from a great friendship. If the conversations in my opinion were sexually based, i don't see a long term relationship. I personally would be to embarresed, thinking and allways trying to remember what was said in the steamier conversations. I would want the feeling of newness and spontaniety. If we had just through our normal conversations felt like we wanted more then meet and get to know one another better on a platanic meens. I guess I'm just old fashioned. I'm in the exact situation as far as kids grown off to college, and heading for divorce. And when I get the urge to even want to form other relationships with men or a man, I want to act as I did as a teen. I still hear my mothers voice preaching the do's and don'ts. And I proudly discussed my views with my daughters, but with a twist. I tried to let them know that no matter what ever happened, good or bad I would still love and be there with them. But again, I hear my mothers voice, and back then there was NO twist. It was my way or the highway! Good luck, you wanted opinions and I shared mine.

what? You've been carrying on via phone with a woman and think it's going to work out? Cancel that. Anything that doesn't happen in reality is meaningless. If you meet someone, start from scratch.
