Yes, absolutely you can. First of all, the tax software. Lol, it cannot possibly know where you got the information you enter from, so why would it matter to it? Secondly, and more importantly, the IRS has a form on their website for exactly this circumstance: employees who did not receive W-2's but can reconstruct their data. You fill out the form and sign it, then provide it with the paper return or to an electronic filing provider as appropriate.

It is my understanding that if you file electronically yourself you don't need it. If you are mailing the tax form in or have a professional efile for you then you do.

Forms W-2 Are Required

When filing electronically taxpayers must provide Forms W-2, W-2G, and 1099-R to the Authorized IRS e-file Provider before the Provider sends the electronic return to the IRS. Providers are prohibited from submitting electronic returns to the IRS prior to receipt of all Forms W-2, W-2G, and 1099-R from the taxpayer. Taxpayers filing electronic returns using a personal computer enter the data from the forms into the electronic filing software themselves. This is similar to the attachment of Forms W-2, W-2G, and 1099-R to the face of paper tax returns.

Yes you can. The prior answerer is correct you can download a form or if you use Turbo Tax, I believe the form required is in their software program.
