I had this problem with my first cat and it was HE@# to figure out how to stop this problem. I found that not only telling him NO!, but ignoring him was the worst thing that ever happened in his young kitten life. If he would jump up on the couch with me after biting me, he would be pushed off the couch and again a loud "NO" as many times as it took for him to figure out that he was not wanted at that time. Now at age 2yrs. he is the most lovable and cuddly cat you could ever imagine, but he still knows the cold shoulder treatment and definitely hates it still.
Good luck and I hope this helps.

That is because you are not trying hard enough to stop this behaviour. If the cat scratches or bites anyone picked the darned thing up and toss (NOT THROW) it aside. And if comes at them again keep repeating this until it stops. This may take some time; be patient and do not lose your temper. The cat is not being mean or malicious, it is merely hunting you and practising it's killing technique. That's how they learn. You just have to convince it to do that elsewhere.

Give it a little tap on the head when it bits or does anything else wrong, not enough to hurt it but enough to let it know it has done something wrong. Cats are smart and they can be trained just like dogs can. It will eventually learn that bitting is bad and will stop doing it.

Kitty should grow out of it. I have 6 myself and they all did it. One of them used to bite your toes at night while you slept...lol. Just keep letting it know that it is not the right thing to do and you don't like it and it should cease in a couple months.

Best solution that I've found: get another kitten. They'll play and bite with each other and only come to you for affection :)

Maybe try some Bitter Apple. My dog used to bite my hands constantly when we played until I rubbed bitter apple on them. Then he would sniff at them and think better of it. Maybe it will work for a cat.

When he bites you have to yell stop and give him another toy to chew on.
