Cannibalism is reported in the Bible during the siege of Samaria. (2 Kings 6:25-30)

Cannibalism has one meaning: The practice of eating the flesh of your own kind.

Jesus Christ could not have intended for us to eat His Flesh and Blood, because that would be cannibalism.

The Bible not only stresses that physical life is in blood, it also teaches that spiritual life is signified by blood.

Here what the bible have to say... "The blood of Jesus is not merely blood, but it is "the blood of the covenant." Hebrews10:29; 13:20

"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profitteth nothing; the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." John 6:63 KJV

"Then Jesus declared, 'I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe....'" (John 6:35-36)

There's no evidence for the Catholic view of the eucharist in scripture, but there is some evidence against it.

Can Catholic Priest call Jesus out of heaven into a piece of bread and some wine so that the people can eat His literal flesh and drink His literal blood? The word of God says..."and without the shedding of blood there is no remission." Heb. 9:22

No.

Cannibalism is eating human flesh.

The Eucharist is eating God in the person of Jesus Christ, God the Son in obedience to the command God in the person of Jesus Christ, God the Son.

At the Last Supper, Jesus said, “Take this bread. It is my body.” Then he said, “Take this and drink. This is my blood. Do this in memory of me.”

Catholics believe this was the First Eucharist, that through a miracle the bread and wine actually became the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

Catholics reenact the Last Supper during every Mass, where God, acting through the priest, changes the bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

This is a great sacrament of thanksgiving and unity of Catholics.

With love in Christ.

This is by far the most out there question of the week.

What the Bible is saying about this is symbolic.

Nobody was going around eating people in the name of Jesus Christ.

WoW!!

No, we don't practice canabalism. We eat bread and drink wine in remembrance of Jesus. WE do not, nor have we ever, carved up some poor sap and feasted on his body.

Such an incredibly stupid and asinine question. No doubt it is intended to evoke emotional, outraged responses. I am a Christian (I would hope) and I do not practice cannibalism. I don't know of any Christian religion which does. And which Orthodox religion do you believe practices cannibalism?

As far as I am concerned Jesus commanded this and that`s good enough for me,I need not wreck my brain trying to work it all out, I just need to believe and receive.

When He told the disciples to "eat this bread" and "drink this wine", He also said, "do this in remembrance of me", meaning it was symbolic only.
