It's all to your tastes, but Intelligentsia is getting more and more awards for having the best coffee. We serve it where I work even though we are not owned by Intelligentsia, and we get tons of compliments. Starbucks makes lattes and other espresso drinks in a very Americanized style as opposed to the traditional Italian way, i.e., they use a ton of syrups, flavors, artificial additives, etc. But if that's what you like, go for it!
Oh, and Lavazza and Seatle's Best are suppoed to be two of the worst, lowest-quality coffees around today.

Starbucks is way too bitter plain, I drink my coffee black, I think Circle K makes the best blend of manly coffee,,

I think Starbucks has to add that Foo Foo sugar stuff just to make their coffee palatable

Depends on whether you want ultra-dark roast (Peet's), or a milder, more cheerful roast (Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf).
