I'll give you my recipe...
With a cucumber, wet the edge of the glass...
Sprinkle celery salt on a plate...
Rim the glass...
In a cocktail shaker, add...
4 1/2 oz Tomato Juice... (Substitute Clamato Juice to make a Bloody Caesar)...
1/2 oz Vodka (I prefer Skyy, but any good vodka will do... If you like flavored vodka, go with Inferno Vodka... It's the one with 2 Peppers in the bottle)...
8 drops worsectershire sauce (sorry if I spelled that wrong)...
4 drop Franks Red Hot (Tabasco will do, but it's not quite as good)...
1 Tablespoon of the Juice from a jar of dill pickles...
Shake well with lots of ice, and dump it, ice and all into the glass... (Very important, as the shaking makes the drink MUCH colder than stirring)...
Garnish with the cucumber slice and a celery stalk...
Adjust the level of Franks/Tabasco if it's not quite right...)

In Canada we have a drink called a Caesar. Its like a bloody Mary but it is made with Clamato Juice and not Tomato Juice. Add a 1/4 tsp of horseradish to it. You can also buy Motts Caeser spice, you also add worchestire sauce and celery salt. A dash of Tabasco also can be added. Don't forget the vodka

The secret to a good bloody is the garnish. Everyone will tell you to use celery. We make a veggie stick. take a kabob stick and go crazy! Shrimp, asparagus, olives, pickled anything and everything you can find. Go to a Health food store and check out the jars of veggies available. We love to serve it with pickled eggs on the side or fill an avocado up with your favorite hot sauce for a side, wow. Always salt the rim.

Absolutely-
(couldn't resist the pun)
1 1/2 oz Absolut Peppar vodka
Tomato juice (d'oh!)
~ 1 tsp horseradish or to taste- good horseradish is key. Use kosher or fresh ground (many supermarkets carry horseradish root in their vegetables)
1/4-1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
Squirt of Sriracha hot sauce to taste(the stuff in the plastic bottle with a rooster on the label in Thai or Vietnamese restaurants)
pinch of ground celery seed OR 1/2-1 tsp celery salt
1/2-1 tsp salt (if not using celery salt)
1/2-1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
Shake like mad. (Shaking it's very important- it aerates the liquid and makes the flavors much more bold)
Top with more ground black pepper and garnish with a good, crisp kosher dill pickle spear and a cocktail onion (MUCH better than boring old celery)
Enjoy!

Oh yes. In a pint glass rimmed with salt and filled with ice, put 2 or 2.5 oz. Absolut Peppar. Fill with Red Eye bloody mary mix. Add a splash of dill pickle juice, a little hot sauce, and a couple shakes of black pepper, and garnish with a dill spear.
I loooooove bloody marys.
